Julie Pettengill, Founder & Lead Accountant
Julie is a dedicated and detail-oriented accounting professional with twelve years of experience in bookkeeping, tax prep and financial management. After working for CPA firms within the Raleigh and Fayetteville area, Julie recognized that the majority of businesses were in need of a more personal level of bookkeeping and financial management assistance. She launched Reliable Numbers LLC so that business owners can free themselves from the financial details and focus on what they do best: growing their business.
Julie believes that accurate and reliable bookkeeping allows business owners to make smarter, more informed business decisions based on clear and up-to-date financial insights.
As a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, Julie has assisted a variety of small businesses across industries including construction, personal and professional services (attorneys, architects, doctor's offices and personal trainers), gym/fitness, hair salons, non-profits, retail, research and restaurants. With a proactive approach and can-do attitude, Julie provides clarity and assurance to clients so that they can focus on their business.
Danielle Smith, Staff Accountant
Danielle Smith is a Staff Accountant at Reliable Numbers, LLC, where she supports clients by helping maintain accurate, organized, and reliable financial records. She holds an Associate’s degree in Accounting and is a Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, allowing her to confidently assist clients using QuickBooks Online to manage their day-to-day bookkeeping needs.
Working closely with Julie, Danielle helps ensure client accounts are kept up to date, reconciled, and consistent. She is known for her attention to detail, clear communication, and thoughtful approach, all of which help clients feel confident in their numbers. Danielle takes pride in supporting business owners behind the scenes so they can focus on running and growing their businesses with peace of mind.
